The True Shine EP has songs by some of True Shine’s most lyrical artists, including OP (formerly OPM1), Non-Fiction, P.T. (PrimeTime), and introducing the studio’s youngest musical prodigy, Da Future. Portland, get ready to jam the City of Roses anthem dedicated to the Portland Trailblazers (go Blazers!!!), as well as One God, sparked by none other than Portland’s finest and number DJ O.G. One. The EP is also available for retail at the True Shine store. Limited Edition CD’s have an exclusive song with OP entitled CRIMINAL, which has an unreleased verse by one of rap’s greatest icons.
A release date has been set for the long awaited 2009 new release of OP (formerly OPM1). The EP is titled “Wait & See”, and covers the artists’ creative journey since 2005’s The Unity Cup with T-Mazz. The EP will be dropping online on September 11, 2009. Fans know OP for his lyrical mastery, witty, thought-provoking verses and spiritual identity and creative mastery. This time he’s taking his craft to a whole new level. Fans of Da Future won’t have long to wait for his new album. Future is currently in the studio burning it up and his album titled “The Black Print” drops October 24, 2009.
